Mental health is part of whole-person care.
For many seniors, asking for mental health support is unfamiliar territory. Ohana's coordination team approaches these conversations with respect and without judgment.
Depression, anxiety, and grief are not a normal or inevitable part of aging; they are clinical conditions that respond to treatment. Getting connected to a qualified clinician is a sign of strength, not weakness. We make that connection as simple as one call.
Who we most often coordinate for:
- Seniors experiencing depression or grief after loss of a spouse
- Patients adjusting to a new diagnosis or significant functional loss
- Seniors in assisted living or memory care with behavioral symptoms
- Family caregivers experiencing burnout, resentment, or compassion fatigue
- Hospice patients and families navigating anticipatory grief
In-person and telehealth options.
Many network clinicians offer telehealth sessions, especially valuable for seniors with mobility limitations, those residing in assisted living, or patients in areas with limited local provider access.
Telehealth availability varies by clinician and patient location. All telehealth services are delivered by independently licensed California clinicians in compliance with applicable telehealth licensing requirements.
Our partner behavioral health network
Ohana coordinates with ACT Group and other independently licensed behavioral health providers with experience in geriatric and elder care populations. Partner clinicians maintain their own independent practices and hold all applicable California licenses.
