Finding the right home for your loved one can feel overwhelming. We simplify the process, helping you compare options and choose a setting that feels safe, comfortable, and truly right for their needs.

HOW IT WORKS

We make navigating care options simple and stress-free. Our clear, proven process gives families clarity and confidence, starting with a conversation and leading to a care solution that meets their unique needs.

Board and Care

Board and Care homes are small, residential-style homes that provide personal care and assistance for seniors who need help with daily tasks. These homes offer a cozy, family-like setting, complete with home-cooked meals and personalized care.

  • Our process begins with a free, no-obligation consultation where we take the time to understand:

    • The senior’s current health condition and level of care needed.

    • Personal preferences such as location, amenities, and community size.

    • Budget and financial considerations, including options for private pay, Medicaid, VA benefits, and long-term care insurance.

    • Family expectations and involvement in the decision-making process.

This consultation can be conducted in person, over the phone, or via video call, whichever is most convenient for the family.

  • After assessing the senior’s needs, we leverage our extensive network of pre-screened senior living communities to provide a tailored list of options. We work with:

    • Board and Care Homes (RCFEs)
Small, residential homes licensed to provide non-medical assistance with daily activities in a warm, home-like setting.

    • Assisted Living Communities
Housing for seniors who need help with daily tasks like bathing and medication but want to maintain independence.

    • Independent Living Communities
Maintenance-free apartments or housing for active, self-sufficient seniors looking for social connection and convenience.

    • Nursing Homes (Skilled Nursing Facilities)
Facilities that provide 24/7 medical care and rehabilitation for seniors with serious health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.

    • Home Care
Non-medical support services provided at home, such as help with meals, bathing, dressing, and companionship.

    • Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs)
Communities that offer multiple levels of care, from independent living to skilled nursing, so seniors can age in place as their needs change.

    • Memory Care Facilities
Secure environments with specially trained staff for seniors living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.

    • Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs)
Licensed homes that provide non-medical care for seniors needing help with daily activities; includes board and care and assisted living homes.

    • Skilled Nursing Facilities
Medically staffed facilities for individuals who need round-the-clock clinical care, therapy, or rehabilitation.

    • Respite Care
Short-term care for seniors, either in a facility or at home, giving family caregivers a break or supporting recovery after hospitalization.

  • We help families coordinate and schedule tours of their preferred communities.
    During these tours, we:

    • Accompany families to ensure they ask the right questions.

    • Compare the pros and cons of each facility.

    • Evaluate cleanliness, staff attentiveness, safety measures, and resident engagement.

    • Gather feedback from families to refine recommendations if needed.

  • Once a family selects the ideal senior living community, we assist with:

    • Paperwork and admission process
Helping families understand contracts, fees, and policies.

    • Medical and financial arrangements
Coordinating with healthcare providers and financial planners as needed.

    • Emotional support
Ensuring a smooth transition by addressing any concerns and supporting families from start to finish.

  • Our service doesn’t end after placement. We continue to:

    • Check-in with families and seniors to ensure they are happy with their new home.

    • Advocate for residents if any issues arise.

    • Offer additional referrals for home care, legal assistance, or financial planning if needed.
